Natural flavors - knowledge, effect and practice

The two-day course provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills for performing herbal infusions in the sauna. Participants learn the responsible use of herbs, their effect on body and mind and the professional design of herbal infusion ceremonies.

Course content

  • Basics of herbalism: selection, effect & safety
  • Traditional and modern forms of application in the sauna
  • Combination of herbs with essential oils and other rituals
  • Practice: Preparation and implementation of herbal infusions
  • Designing multi-sensory infusion experiences with herbs
  • Guest care and communication in the context of herbal ceremonies

Lecturers

The instructor Mirah Burmann, reigning winner of the Sauna Herbal Cup Germany and runner-up in the 2022 World Championship, is an internationally experienced sauna master who shares her extensive knowledge and passion for natural sauna experiences with the participants.

Co-lecturer is Peter Wagner, experienced sauna master and member of the international jury of the Sauna Herbal Cup.
